Only Men Aloud ~ this newly re-formed premiere men's group from Wales brings a fresh look and sound from Welsh male musicians. Directed by Tim Rhys Evans MBE. Make your reservations now for 2014 NAFOW at Headquarters Hotel Hyatt Regency in Minneapolis MN and be in the center of festivities.

Tramor [Overseas] ~ John Good is a multi-instrumentalist, Welsh piper, singer, songwriter, poet and storyteller. His ensemble of Billy Parker and John Piggott add mandolin and harp to bring the flavor of tradional Welsh music to the contemporary stage. NWAF Awards Banquet and Entertainment ~ Presentation of the 2014 National Welsh American Foundation Award winner Mary Morris Mergenthal, with performances by the 2013 National Eisteddfod Blue Riband winner Joshua Owen Mills.
 Eisteddfod Competition Gymanfa Ganu
We encourage you to participate in this time honored tradition, enter to compete in the NAFOW Eisteddfod and show off your talents. Competitions in singing and recitation, for all ages and skill levels, see entry form for details . The 83rd Welsh National Gymanfa Ganu, literally a "song gathering" held Sunday afternoon and evening, congregational hymn singing in both Welsh and English [see 2014 hymn list]  Led by Meirwyn I. Walters, Esq.
Tours Seminars, Workshops & more
 As part of the festival, we will be running two tours on Thursday and Monday, allowing participants to get a feel for the local area.  Explore the Twin Cities highlights: history, culture, natural beauty. The Minnesota Landscape Arboretum, a boat ride on a city lake, the architecture of Harry Wild Jones.  Read full tour description... Marketplace & Tea Room
~ purchase Welsh souvenirs and speak to representatives of Welsh groups in the Marketplace, meet friends for a cup of tea and Welsh cakes in the Tea Room. Marketplace and  Advertising Forms are now available for vendors interested in reserving a space or advertising in the NAFOW 2014  Souvenir program.
The Affiliated Welsh Organizations Roundtable ~ This annual meeting is your chance to meet with other local Welsh representatives.
Informal Singing ~ Finish every memorable evening singing Welsh hymns and old favorites.
The North American Festival of Wales is held in a different location each year, in either the US or Canada on  the shared Labor Day holiday weekend. Prepare yourself for four full days of song, merriment and camaraderie with old and new friends, celebrating the life, heritage and culture of Wales in Minneapolis, Minnesota known as the cultural capital of the Midwest.
